Meet Alice, a driven entrepreneur and owner of GoodBelly LLC. Originally from Cambodia, Alice moved to America at the age of 19 and began her journey in Texas as a Baker/Cashier at a local donut shop. With a strong work ethic, she worked seven days a week, 10-12 hours a day for nearly two years. Despite the tough work environment, Alice credits this experience for teaching her valuable life lessons. In 2015, Alice moved to Washington to start a new chapter in her life. It was here that she met her boyfriend, Brandon Hamilton, and began pursuing her dreams. She went to college, graduating in 2018 with a degree in Business, and obtained her Citizenship the following year. Alice's life took another exciting turn when she visited Hawaii in 2019 and discovered her love for Malasadas, a traditional Hawaiian fried donut filled with custard. Fast forward to 2021, Alice quit her retail job during the pandemic and stumbled upon Ryan's REZ-ipes Food Truck, where she fell in love with the food truck community. When Hawaii reopened for visitors, Alice and Brandon visited the Big Island and discovered a tiny food trailer selling delicious Malasadas. After returning home, Alice attempted to recreate the recipe and succeeded in creating the perfect Malasadas. She began selling them on Facebook Marketplace and quickly sold out every time. After much thought, Alice decided to start her own business, naming it GoodBelly LLC. Her goal is to spread joy and happiness by serving her delightful, warm, and fresh Malasadas from her brand new full-size donut trailer. With her business acumen, work ethic, and passion for food, there's no doubt that GoodBelly LLC will become a hit.
